3.1 Phillip Lim pre-fall 2013... and why am i going completely bananas

What is soooo exciting about this is that i NEVER get excited for pre-fall collections. It usually is like that salad you have before the big steak is coming. You'll eat a bit cause it was part of the table d'hôte but you're leaving most of the place for the main course.... 3.1 Phillip Lim usually makes me wanna starve myself for days so when THAT meal comes, ill even have dessert twice. Not so healthy but just soooo good. Not disappointed at all. Not only are all his looks wearable but they are also all street style pictures material. Pre-fall usually is also a lil cheaper than the main collection which I'm totalllyyyy ok with. Easy chic everyday pieces like the zipper sweaters in electric blue and nude and the leopard ensemble make me very happy about.. well, what will be out next year. Ahhh stay patient people !

I have two words for you : extremely....disappointing. what on earth is this ?! Every single looks screams been there, done that for Mr. Wang. He is usually the one show I'm DYING over and dream about his pieces at night... but seriously, very bof.  If you take his summer collection, were talking a WHOOOLE other level. Im talking inventive, minimalist genius ! You wanna wear every single dress and pair of shoes and exchange for every thing you own !!! but this....

 I very much understand a designer has a creative line to respect and a look for his clientele but

Lately completely obsessed with Meisels work, I'm looking forward to find a good coffee table book of his work to had to my collection. Im seeing a Terry Richardson ambiance going on which i LOVE  but loving the fact that it wasn't him. Makes it so much better. Some people can do better than you Terry. Maybe sticking your dick everywhere doesn't help.
